Fort Fletch

Fort Fletch is a small gun shop centered around a long-since forgotten notion, "customer service." We strive to offer customer service tailored to your specific needs. Not everybody is a seasoned expert in the field of firearms. We understand that and treat every customer with respect regardless of experience level. In the shooting sports there are a wide array of activities, and we endeavor to match you with the products that are best suited for your needs. Realizing that we are a very small shop we are more than happy to special order in firearms for you. Most of the time we are able to do this at no additional cost.

We also offer a wide variety of optics and accessories. Most people don't have the time or the expertise to install these items. Therefore, Fort Fletch offers either free or discounted installation of everything in the store.

Fort Fletch specializes in AR customization. This includes repairs, upgrades and accessories. We offer services on ARs such as: re-barreling, free-floating, buttstock upgrades, grip changes, trigger upgrades, optics installation, laser and light installation, and many more. The AR platform is by far the most versatile firearms platform in the world. It has easily surpassed that of the 1911. For example, there are more than 12 cartridges currently available inside the AR 15 platform. By far the most popular new chamberings are the 223 Wylde*, the 300 Blackout***, and the 6.8 SPC**. (Be on the lookout for the .458 SOCOM.) Aside from calibers, there are a myriad of available stocks, grips, optics, and sling attachments. There are so many different types of attachments and/or upgrades that it's impossible to list every single one. There are literally thousands.

For those of you who are looking to do a "ground up" custom A.R. build, I do not hold a Type 7 FFL Manufacturer's license. I have looked into it, and the insurance and licensing expense make it cost prohibitive. I can, however, help you with anything that you own. I ask that if you wish to do a ground up that you obtain a stripped lower receiver and bring it to me and we'll get started. It's a lot of fun, and after you're done there is no other one like it on the planet. It's yours! I have a vast array of the most popular parts to help you build your "dream gun." Here are some examples.

For those of you interested in the fine print, here it goes: I can, acting as your gunsmith under your instructions, manufacture a firearm for you. This in turn makes you the manufacturer. ATF regulations provide that you are allowed to manufacture a firearm for your personal use. By the letter of the law, taking a receiver (which is still considered a firearm), and turning it into a pistol and / or rifle, is considered "the manufacture of a firearm." There are some stipulations to this. I, as your gunsmith, cannot sell you every single gun part in the manufacture of this firearm. In order to be considered your gunsmith (and not a manufacturer), you need to at least provide me with one part, ideally the lower receiver.

We also offer several options of "off-the-shelf" AR's. We are a direct distributor of Rock River Arms.
